The Red Storm have not tasted defeat since the 73-71 loss at Villanova back on February 12.

They responded to that defeat with a 79-73 success at home to Creighton, sparking a six-game win streak that closed out the regular season.

St John's NY wrapped up that part of the campaign with an 86-84 overtime success against Marquette, and kept that red-hot run going in the Big East tournament.

The Red Storm beat Butler 78-57 and Marquette 79-63, before clinching the conference crown with an 82-66 victory over Creighton.

Omaha go into the national tournament having claimed their conference title as part of a six-game win streak.

The Mavericks dropped back-to-back road games in the middle of February, but rallied over the final two weeks of the regular season.

They got back on track with a 78-66 victory at Kansas City, before returning home to beat South Dakota 93-85 and Oral Roberts 80-57.

Omaha then kept that run going as they went all the way in the Summit tournament.

The Mavericks beat Kansas City 70-61 and South Dakota 100-75 to book their place in the final, where they beat St Thomas 85-75.
