Legendary jockey, Frankie Dettori will be riding at a UK horse racing meeting for the final time this afternoon. Dettori has landed some plumb rides on Champions Day, most notably on Champions Sprint favourite Kinross, who Frankie partnered to victory in this race 12 months ago.
Dettori's book of rides on Champions Day begins with Trawlerman in the Long Distance Cup, before he reforms his partnership with Kinross. Frankie will then ride Free Wind in the Champion Fillies & Mares and 2000 Guineas hero Chaldean in the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes, before completing his time riding in Britain by partnering King Of Steel in the Champion Stakes.
