In one of the better games of the tournament the West Indies came up just short in their last outing against Sri Lanka at Chester-le-Street. On a good batting track Sri Lanka amassed 338 runs batting first.

The West Indies were in trouble early on in the chase but Nicolas Pooran pulled them to the brink of victory with a magnificent 118 runs. His dismissal late in the match signaled the end for the Windies as they fell 23 runs short.

West Indies are odds on favourite at 1.25 but I’m focusing on the poor form of Chris Gayle who’s tipped to score under 38.5 for the fifth time in six matches at 1.90.
