India vs New Zealand Cricket World Cup - Batsmen set to dominate at Trent Bridge
Virat Kohli tipped to star in run fest against New Zealand
India vs New Zealand Cricket World Cup Preview, Predictions, Betting Tips & Live Stream
A cracking match full of runs can be expected as India play New Zealand at high scoring Trent Bridge in the 2019 Cricket World Cup. With both teams playing good cricket and batsmen in-form, I am tipping the match to go over 591.5 runs and a first innings total that exceeds 300.5 runs.
Virat Kohli scored 82 runs in his last innings so I’m backing him to score over 42.5 runs at 1.80 and to score a 50 at 2.10.
India Form & Team News
India started their World Cup campaign with a bang, beating two of the supposed title challengers in South Africa and Australia. Shikhar Dhawan top scored with 117 runs against Australia while Virat Kohli supported him well with 82 runs at The Oval. After been struck on the thumb during his innings, Dhawan has been ruled out against New Zealand. Dinesh Karthik is his likely replacement.
Kohli’s form is an ominous sign for New Zealand and I’m tipping him to score over 42.5 runs at 1.80. Trent Bridge is the second highest run scoring venue in the world over the last five years and with both sides filled with quality batsmen, there is value in the first innings to go beyond 300.5 runs at 1.90.
Considering that these are both top teams and New Zealand recently beat India, I think backing India at 1.44 is far too risky.

New Zealand Form & Team News
New Zealand sit pretty at the top of the World Cup table having won all three of their matches. In their last match they comfortably beat Afghanistan by seven wickets.
The Afghans offered little resistance as they only managed to muster 172 runs batting first. James Neesham was the pick of the bowlers with 5-31. Kane Williamson (79) and Ross Taylor (48) steered New Zealand to a comfortable victory at County Ground with an 89-run partnership.
The Black Caps can be backed at 2.75 to beat India but I feel there is good value in the total runs scored market. At a ground that averages 6.65 runs per over in six matches since 2017, I am backing the total match runs to go beyond 591.5 runs at 2.00.
India vs New Zealand Head to Head
New Zealand have only won one of their last seven official ODI’s against India.

India vs New Zealand Match Up
India have a very balanced team and it’s hard to find a weakness, but Virat Kohli remains the glue that holds the batting together.
New Zealand have cruised in the World Cup thus far but this will be their first real test against a team ranked above them.
