Punjab Kings have completely revamped their squad ahead of the IPL 2025 season, with a new captain in Shreyas Iyer.
They have also brought back Glenn Maxwell into their squad, which gives them a lot more with both bat and ball.

Punjab Kings will play several matches outside of their home in Chandigarh. They also have a new home in the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium, where they will play three matches. Punjab will also play three matches in Dharamsala and one match in Vizag, against Rajasthan Royals.

Punjab have a stronger squad this year than previous seasons, particularly with the shrewd selection of Yuzvendra Chahal and Glenn Maxwell. Arshdeep Singh will add plenty with the ball while Marco Jansen, Harpreet Brar and Kuldeep Sen will add depth in the middle overs.
Prediction
Punjab have a strong squad that may be capable in adding a few wins towards the end. However, there are some questions about their chemistry considering a few players have not played with each other, or for Punjab Kings.
We feel Punjab will be in and around the playoffs but may just miss out on qualification.
