Comoros Form
Comoros come into the COSAFA Cup in decent form, but they have picked a very young and inexperienced side for the tournament.
Earlier in June, Comoros lost 2-1 in Madagascar in a World Cup qualifier. They bounced back to beat Chad 2-0 away from home four days earlier.
Prior to their defeat to Madagascar, Comoros were on a six-match unbeaten run.
Zimbabwe Form
Zimbabwe are in poor form coming into this tournament and will be looking for some momentum. They certainly have the ability to have a good tournament given that many teams, like Comoros, use youngsters in the COSAFA Cup.
The last time Zimbabwe won a game in 90 minutes was in 2022. Their only two wins in the last seven matches have come via penalty shootouts against Zambia and Botswana.
Over the last three games, Zimbabwe lost 3-1 away to Kenya before going down 2-0 to Lesotho on home soil in a World Cup qualifier. Four days later, Zimbabwe lost 3-1 in South Africa.
