Nigeria held Canada to a 0-0 draw in their first match of the Women’s World Cup. The Super Falcons had just one shot on target, 32% possession and Deborah Abiodun was sent off in the 98th minute.

Nigeria are unbeaten in four matches after warm up wins against New Zealand (3-0), Haiti (2-1) and Costa Rica (1-0). 

The mini-unbeaten streak followed a seven-match winless run, including six defeats.
