Ivan Jovanović’s Greece narrowly missed out on automatic promotion to the Nations League A division. They won five of six Group B2 matches and finished behind England on goal difference.

Greece won their opening four games against Finland 3-0, Ireland 2-0 and England 2-1. The Sky Blue-Whites' only loss came at home against England when they fell to a 3-0 defeat.

Jovanović’s outfit ended the group stage with a 2-0 away win at Finland in November. Anastasios Bakasetas and Christos Tzolis scored in the second period as Greece dominated with 16-7 shots.
