The DP World Tour and a competitive field return to Laguna National for the third edition of the Singapore Classic this weekend. Who will pocket the winner's cheque come Sunday?

Jesper Svensson will not be back to defend his title after a playoff victory over Kiradech Aphibarnrat in 2024.

These are our four selections that could win the title this weekend.

Robert MacIntyre

Robert MacIntyre had a solid beginning to his season on the PGA Tour and DP World Tour, finishing T15 at the Sentry, T53 at the Sony Open in Hawaii, T17 at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic and T40 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

Since those results, MacIntyre has been in excellent shape, placing T6 at the WM Phoenix Open, MC at the Genesis Invitational, T11 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and 9th at the Players Championship last weekend.

The two-time DP World Tour winner missed the cut at the Singapore Classic in 2023.

MacIntyre has been in top form lately and can secure victory in Singapore this weekend.

Tom McKibbin

Tom McKibbin contested three tournaments on the DP World Tour at the start of his season, finishing 60th at the Nedbank Golf Challenge, T24 at the Alfred Dunhill Championship and T6 at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic.

After those performances, McKibbin signed for the LIV Golf Tour, placing T15 in Riyadh, T7 in Adelaide, T6 in Hong Kong and T25 in Singapore last weekend.

The Northern Irishman had made two appearances at the Singapore Classic, placing T12 in 2023 and MC in 2024.

McKibbin will fancy his chances to lift the winning trophy at the Laguna National Golf Resort Club after recording three top-ten results in his five tournaments.

Julien Guerrier

Julien Guerrier was in great touch at the beginning of his season on the DP World Tour, placing T6 at the Nedbank Golf Challenge, T19 at the Alfred Dunhill Championship and T21 at the Dubai Desert Classic.

Guierrier's form has dipped lately, finishing T50 at the Ras Al Khaimah Championship, T21 at the Bahrain Championship and T50 at the Qatar Masters.

The Frenchman finished T38 overall at the 2023 Porsche Singapore Classic on debut.

Guerrier offers excellent value at the Laguna National Golf Resort Club this weekend.

Daniel Hillier

Daniel Hillier played well at the start of his season, placing T43 at the BMW Australian PGA Championship, T23 at the ISPS Handa Australian Open, T24 at the Nedbank Golf Challenge and 2nd at the Dubai Desert Classic before missing the cut at the Ras Al Khaimah Championship.

Hillier shrugged off that result, finishing T24 at the Bahrain Championship, T25 at the Qatar Masters and T12 at the New Zealand Open (PGA Tour of Australasia) in his subsequent three tournaments.

The 26-year-old New Zealander missed the cut at the Porsche Singapore Classic in 2023 and 2024.

Hillier is showing signs he is ready to win another DP World Tour title.

Verdict

MacIntyre can covert his recent performances into a victory at the Singapore Classic this weekend.

McKibbin has done nothing wrong lately and can win at the Laguna National Golf Resort Club this weekend.

Guerrier has achieved solid results thus far and should enter calculations in Singapore.

Hillier has been thereabouts lately and can emerge as the winner come Sunday.
