Cheltenham Market Movers - Saturday 16th December
1:15pm Aucunrisque - 7/1 into 7/2
There's been plenty of money for AUCUNRISQUE ahead of our opening ITV Race at Cheltenham. Chris Gordon's star won the Betfair Hurdle from the front this season and has dropped down to an appealing chasing mark, following a decent fifth behind Boothill at Ascot.
1:50pm Frero Banbou - 12/1 into 8/1
Following a fantastic ITV Racing treble yesterday, punters are siding with Venetia Williams once again, as FRERO BANBOU has made a serious move in the December Gold Cup betting. Charlie Deutsch's mount might have won at Newbury last time out, had he not made a hash of the final flight, and Frero Banbou is only three pounds higher in the handicap for that fine runner-up effort.
3:00pm Moon D'Orange - 14/1 into 9/1
Dan Skelton's Illico De Cotte now sits closest to Shanagh Bob at the head of the betting for this Grade Two. Money has also arrived for John McConnell's raider, MOON D'ORANGE. Ben Harvey's mount has placed behind talented sorts like Johnnywho and Will Do in recent starts and McConnell's record at these early-season Cheltenham meetings is strong.
3:35pm Martha Divine - 14/1 into 8/1
Bonttay, Nurse Susan and Windtothelightning have all be cut for Saturday's card closer, as Theatre Glory continues to drift. At a longer price, MARTHA DIVINE has also attracted support. Harry Fry's recruit showed some good form in Ireland last season, placing second to the classy Corbetts Cross in a handicap at Fairyhouse and punters feel that she's well-treated off this British mark of 120.
