Belinda Bencic has just pulled off another brilliant result as a mother after defeating Coco Gauff, Diana Shnaider, and Amanda Anisimova to register a quarterfinal in Indian Wells.

She was unranked while returning to the tour in late October and has now jumped back to the top-50 in the matter of a few months.

Bencic has won 25 matches in her comeback, with five of them coming against top-20 players alone.

In addition to reaching the final at 125k Angers and the fourth round at the Australian Open, she came away with a WTA 500 title in Abu Dhabi for her first trophy in two years.

She is likely to enjoy even greater success while playing in Miami. The Swiss player has made at least its third round in her last three appearances, going on to become the semifinalist in 2022.
